PhD Admissions

The BMDS Lab typically offers well-funded PhD positions each year. We welcome applications from highly qualified and motivated candidates with backgrounds in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, or Biotechnology.

Prospective PhD applicants are encouraged to submit their materials through Brock University's official application system and indicate Dr. Yifeng Li as their intended supervisor. Applicants may also choose to send their CV and transcripts to Dr. Li for preliminary contact.

MSc Admissions

The BMDS Lab also offers well-supported MSc student positions annually. We encourage strong candidates from relevant disciplines such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, or Biotechnology to reach out.

Undergraduate Opportunities

Research opportunities for undergraduate students at Brock University may be available through courses such as COSC 3P99, COSC 4F90, BIOL 4F90, or BIOL 4F91. Students with a strong interest in machine learning, biomedical data science, or bioinformatics are encouraged to reach out Dr. Li. Preference will be given to students with strong academic performance and a clear interest in the lab's research.
